The Labour leader has warned the prime minister to “think very carefully” about the policies of his home secretary.
Sir Keir Starmer said Suella Braverman’s comments on homelessness being a “lifestyle choice”, and also about security, were a “platform for her own ambitions”.
Mrs Braverman was next to the PM in the King’s Speech debate, shaking her head, as Sir Keir said there could not be a serious government without a serious home secretary.
