New president reinstates Eslami as head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation, state media says

(Reuters) – Iran’s newly elected president has reinstated Mohammad Eslami as head of the country’s Atomic Energy Organisation, state media reported on Saturday.

“Due to your valuable managerial experiences, I appoint you vice president and head of the Atomic Energy Organisation,” President Masoud Pezeshkian said in his appointment announcement carried by state media.
